in Miami, Fl. Sean Walker never really hung out with the neighborhood
kids or played sports. Instead, he started creating artwork, and is
still at it today with his surreal acrylic paintings – often
centered around well-known imagery deeply rooted in the public consciousness.
“I try to provoke strong expression and dynamic image-making in my artwork, especially in my traditional acrylic paintings. But most important, is the enjoyment and wonder I experience after the last mark has been made,” says Walker He recently studied illustration at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. |
